Air Shower – High-Velocity Dust Decontamination System

The Deconta Air Shower is a German-engineered personnel decontamination system designed to remove hazardous dust, fibres and contaminants before workers exit a dusty or high-risk work zone. Built for environments like recycling plants, waste-processing facilities and demolition sites, it provides a fast, effective barrier between “dirty” and “clean” areas. 

At the heart of the system are two components: the Air Shower Cabin and the Air Generator.
Inside the cabin, powerful multi-directional air jets deliver a high-volume blast across the entire body, stripping dust from clothing, PPE and equipment within seconds. Workers simply rotate in the airflow to ensure every surface is thoroughly cleaned.

The Air Generator continuously extracts the contaminated air from the floor area and processes it through a 4-stage filtration system:

• Stage 1: EU3 pre-filter inside the cabin
• Stage 2: EU3 pre-filter
• Stage 3: EU4 intermediate filter
• Stage 4: HEPA high-efficiency filter

Once purified, the clean air is returned to the cabin through four hose connections built into dual walls, creating a closed-loop, high-intensity decontamination cycle.

This closed, recirculating design prevents contaminated air from escaping, reduces cross-contamination across the facility, and improves hygiene standards in areas such as breakrooms, offices and vehicle cabins. The result is a safer, cleaner exit point for workers operating in extremely dusty environments.
