Important – Check Before Ordering
1. What does System 36 mean?
System 36 refers to the nominal 36 mm internal diameter of the suction hose and its compatible accessory system. It does not mean that the connector plugging into the vacuum cleaner measures 36 mm.
2. My vacuum has a 50 mm connection. Will this hose fit?
This hose uses a D50/D36-style machine-end connection, allowing a 36 mm hose to connect to certain Nilfisk vacuum cleaners with a nominal 50 mm inlet.
However, a 50 mm inlet does not automatically guarantee compatibility. Different vacuums may use different connection profiles, locking mechanisms or adapters.
3. Is System 36 the same as System 50?
No. System 36 and System 50 refer to different nominal hose and accessory diameters.
System 36: 36 mm hose internal diameter.
System 50: 50 mm hose internal diameter.
Although both systems may connect to certain vacuums using suitable machine-end fittings, the hoses and tool connections are not necessarily interchangeable.
4. My vacuum is called ATTIX 50. Does that mean I need a System 50 hose?
Not necessarily. The number 50 in ATTIX 50 identifies the vacuum cleaner model range, not its required hose diameter.
Selected ATTIX 50 vacuum cleaners are supplied with System 36 hoses, including Nilfisk part number 25537.
5. Does this hose fit every Nilfisk vacuum cleaner?
No. Nilfisk manufactures different vacuum cleaner ranges with different inlet connections, hose diameters and coupling systems.
Check your existing hose part number or the vacuum's exact model before ordering.
6. Is this an antistatic hose?
No. Nilfisk 25537 is a standard non-antistatic EVA hose.
If your vacuum or application requires an antistatic or electrically conductive hose, select the appropriate manufacturer-approved alternative.
7. Can I use this hose with a Nilfisk H-Class vacuum?
Some H-Class models may accept compatible System 36 connections. However, physical compatibility does not establish suitability for hazardous dust collection.
This is a non-antistatic hose and should not be assumed to be an approved substitute for the hose specified for asbestos removal, hazardous dust control or applications requiring antistatic equipment.
Always follow the vacuum manufacturer's approved configuration and the applicable workplace safety requirements.
8. Does the hose include the connectors and cleaning tools?
This is a complete hose assembly with connection cuffs at both ends.
Cleaning tools, floor nozzles, extension tubes and additional adapters are not included unless explicitly specified.
9. Are all 36 mm accessories compatible?
Not automatically. A matching diameter does not guarantee that a cleaning tool or extension tube will connect correctly.
Check the accessory's coupling style, particularly whether it uses Nilfisk's Quick-system connection.
10. Can I use it for hot materials or hazardous environments?
The specified hose material temperature range is -50°C to +60°C. This does not make it suitable for collecting hot ash, burning materials or other hazardous substances.
This hose is not intended for Type 22 explosive-dust vacuum configurations.
