We confirm the unit and the rate
You get the machine that fits the enclosure, not the one nearest the roller door. Under-size it and it will not hold the differential. Over-size it and the enclosure becomes unworkable.
It arrives checked
Serviced, inspected and function-checked before it leaves our Auburn NSW facility.

When hire wins
A job that needs more capacity than your own fleet covers, for a few weeks only. A machine you need once a year and cannot justify owning. Or a job you have won but not yet been paid for, where the cash is better used elsewhere.
When owning wins
On most of the fleet, somewhere between four and eight weeks of hire reaches the purchase price of the machine. If a unit is going to be on your sites more than a couple of months a year, owning it is usually cheaper, and you control when it gets serviced.
Frequently asked questions
What does the AR 270 actually remove?
Asbestos-containing floor coverings and the adhesives under them, on small to medium areas. Tell us the covering and the floor area and we will confirm it is the right machine.
Do I need a vacuum with it?
Yes. The grinder works as an enclosed system with H-class vacuum extraction. Without the vacuum the dust has nowhere to go. We can supply both on the same hire.
Which vacuum should I pair it with?
A Nilfisk H-class unit. Tell us the job and we will match the vacuum to the grinder so the fittings and airflow are right.
What is tool decoupling?
It lets the grinding head follow the floor independently of the frame, which gives you more control and a more even cut on uneven surfaces.
Is it suitable for edge work and confined spaces?
The AR 270 is sized for open small to medium areas. For edges and tight spaces the AR 115 is the better machine, and we can send both.
Can one person handle it?
It is compact and portable by design. Tell us the access, including stairs or lifts, and we will confirm before it goes out.
