The 3M 6835 P3 Asbestos/Dust Full Face Respirator Kit is a complete respiratory protection package designed for asbestos work, hazardous dust and fine particulate applications. The kit includes a 3M 6000 Series full face respirator, providing combined respiratory, eye and face protection for tasks requiring a higher level of protection than a half-face respirator.

Supplied with two pairs of 3M 6035 P2/P3 particulate filters, the kit provides P3-level particulate protection when the filters are correctly fitted to the supplied full face respirator. The enclosed filter housing helps protect the filter media from dust, moisture, dirt and debris, which can assist with extending filter life in demanding work environments. The smooth outer casing also makes the filters easier to wipe down as part of appropriate decontamination procedures.

The 3M 6835 kit can be used for a range of applications including selected asbestos removal work, silica dust, lead paint removal, masonry, insulation work and exposure to other hazardous particulates such as beryllium. It is also suitable for activities such as sanding, drilling, sawing, cutting and grinding where particulate respiratory protection has been correctly selected.

Respirator selection must take into account the contaminant, expected exposure level, work activity and applicable workplace requirements. Correct fit testing is required to ensure the respirator provides the intended level of protection.
