How hire works
Tell us the job
Enclosure volume, access, and how long the job runs. That is all we need to size the unit properly.
We confirm the unit and the rate
You get the machine that fits the enclosure, not the one nearest the roller door. Under-size it and it will not hold the differential. Over-size it and the enclosure becomes unworkable.
It arrives tested
Serviced, filter-checked and DOP tested before it leaves our Auburn NSW facility, with the certificate supplied.

When hire wins
A job that needs more capacity than your own fleet covers, for a few weeks only. A machine you need once a year and cannot justify owning. Or a job you have won but not yet been paid for, where the cash is better used elsewhere.
When owning wins
On most of the fleet, somewhere between four and eight weeks of hire reaches the purchase price of the machine. If a unit is going to be on your sites more than a couple of months a year, owning it is usually cheaper, and you control when it gets serviced.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an air scrubber and a negative pressure unit?
An air scrubber recirculates and filters the air inside a space. A negative pressure unit exhausts an enclosure to outside and holds it under negative pressure. They do different jobs, and one does not replace the other.
Can I use an air scrubber instead of a negative pressure unit on an asbestos enclosure?
No. The enclosure still needs a negative pressure unit to create and hold the pressure differential. An air scrubber cleans the air in a space, it does not contain it.
Should I hire H13 or H14 filters?
Under EN 1822, H13 is rated at 99.95% efficiency and H14 at 99.995%, both at the most penetrating particle size. Tell us the work and we will confirm which applies.
Is it DOP tested before it goes out?
Yes. Every filtered unit is serviced, filter-checked and DOP tested before it leaves our Auburn NSW facility, and the dated certificate comes with the machine.
How big a space will one unit handle?
It moves 2,300 m3 per hour with the filter fitted. Tell us the volume of the space and how clean you need it kept, and we will tell you whether one unit is enough or whether you need two.
Can I run several units together?
Yes, the housings are stackable, so multiple units take very little floor space. It is the usual approach on larger areas.
What power does it need?
Only 2.6 A, so it will not trouble a site board even with several units running.
How long does a filter change take?
About three minutes, and the design keeps emissions low during the change. Original filters come with the hire.
